Robin Hill Country Park
Park
Robin Hill Country Park is a family adventure park set in 88 acres of woodland and downland near Newport, in the central part of the Isle of Wight. The park combines outdoor rides and play equipment with nature trails, gardens, and wildlife areas, making it one of the most popular family attractions on the island. Attractions include toboggan runs, a galleon ship play area, tree-top trails, falconry displays, and a wide range of activities aimed primarily at younger children and families. The park makes good use of its woodland setting, and the mature trees and natural landscape distinguish it from the more commercial theme parks found on the mainland, giving it a character of its own. Robin Hill also hosts events, including music festivals that have used the atmospheric woodland site over the years. The park is open seasonally, from spring through to the autumn half-term, with special events including Halloween and Christmas activities that extend the season and give reasons to return. Admission is charged. Robin Hill sits in the countryside between Newport and Sandown and is well signposted from the main roads. It is one of the principal family attractions on the Isle of Wight and provides a full day out for families with children, particularly those under twelve who will find the most to enjoy.
