The smallest National Trust property in the country, Newtown's Old Town Hall is a modest brick building that once served as the town hall for a borough that returned two Members of Parliament despite being little more than a hamlet. The building dates from the 17th century and tells the story of one of England's most famous rotten boroughs. Adjacent to the Newtown National Nature Reserve and its tidal creeks.
