The Orchards is a holiday park set in the rural west of the island near Newbridge, within easy reach of Yarmouth and the western beaches. The park offers touring pitches, camping, static caravans and holiday homes in a well-maintained setting with mature trees and hedgerows.
Facilities include an indoor heated pool, a bar and restaurant, a shop, launderette, play areas and a games room. The park runs entertainment programmes during peak seasons. The west Wight setting means quieter roads and a more rural atmosphere than the east coast parks, with Freshwater Bay, The Needles, and the Tennyson Trail all nearby.
Yarmouth is the nearest town, with its historic castle, harbour, and the Wightlink ferry to Lymington. The Yar estuary and its nature reserves are good for birdwatching, and the western downs offer some of the island's finest walking. The park is popular with families and returning visitors who prefer the quieter, more scenic western end of the island.
